New year, new luck
Happy new year!

We wish you all a good start in the new year and many happy hours with your families and friends. For all sailors "fair winds and following seas"! Here's to a new year in all corners of the world, wherever you are, seeking your adventures and enjoying your lives. We think of you and stay in touch.
Thanks to all of you
Since October 27th we are with our children in Switzerland and celebrated Christmas together with them and yesterday we had a good start into the New Year. At moments like this, thoughts go back to the Caribbean and also to all our new friends and acquaintances. Almost two years ago we left to discover the world by sailing ship. There was once a route and fixed destinations and so quickly everything has changed. Well, we have learned to take what gives us life. To take the cheerfulness and serenity from other cultures and enjoy every day.
We would also like to thank you all for the many emails, phone calls, Whatsup's and the like that you have shared with us over the last two years. This connection has also helped us time and time again, not every day in paradise is a sunny day and then friends are even more important than usual.
November and December 2022
A short review to the last two months, so you are a bit up to date again. At the end of October we traveled from South Africa back to Switzerland. After almost two years of ship life and sailing we decided to continue to explore the world, just not time limited with the intended 3 - 4 years, but as long as we enjoy it. In the last two months we have liquidated our household in Switzerland, given away a lot and sold some. Memories like photo albums, gifts and personal items are stored in a few cardboard boxes. All other arrangements have been settled, so we can confidently leave. Some emotions came up, but in the end less is more and also very liberating. As a consolation, our new household in South Africa is waiting for us (wink, wink).
from January
In the middle of January we will travel back to South Africa. There we will stay in our apartment in Knysna and enjoy the country life. Until our catamaran is launched there will be some time to get to know the country and its people. In March we will go to Tanzania to the Serengeti, then criss-cross through South Africa. In the middle of July we will sail to Mozambique, Madagascar, Seychelles and back to Knysna. We will be happy to report to you again about our trips and excursions.
